Devoted fans of the actress are calling for that a individual who leaped a barricade and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be detained or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was due to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Followers Express Concern Over Grande's Safety

Many followers accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

A number of fans also criticised guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked startled when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore venue, including a number who had queued for as long as eight hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be launched on 21 November, is the follow-up of a dual version of the acclaimed Broadway and West End show Wicked, which centers on the surprising friendship between two contrasting characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sequin dress at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received 10 award recognitions, winning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
